we had a customer that bought a new XC90. Complained about a front rattle noise in the front suspension. We couldn’t find it. Each tech including me drove it with chassis ears and could never find any noise. We got our rep got involved and he couldn’t hear anything but the customer kept telling us the noise was there. He (who has bought cars from us before) is now returning the car and plans to do the whole Lemon thing (rumor has it). Is there any validity to his case if it were to happen?

Bonus question for comedic reasons:
Train “A” leaves it’s station at 3:47 PM, and travels 42MPH, going east. At the same time, Train “B” leaves it’s station heading towards Train “A”s station, going west, at 39 MPH. Both trains are on the same track, and the track is 237 miles long. When both trains meet on the same track, who will be the plaintiff, and who will be the defendant?

both the foreman and rep said that the customer said he heard something on a couple occasions during their drives but they both didn’t hear it. Customer basically thinks we are deaf lol.

I remember a long time ago, before Steve, when we all had panic attack when the Jalopnik proper mentioned Oppo, and then there was new people, and we didn’t like that.
Now a days, were (Oppo) are all over the FP, including Steve.
I was wondering how Steve found Jalopnik, and figured out how to Oppo. How we got to be buddy buddy with Matt & Co.
Don’t get me wrong, Oppo & Jalopnik are better with Steve, and I enjoy his articles & podcast.
Also >?< for you Ike, have you had Steve on before? I haven’t listened to all the podcasts, but I thought I saw you had him on before.

This will be Steve’s 3rd appearance on the show, He’s a good guy to get if you fuck up your schedule and need some one! Also Steve’s awesome, and I enjoy Shooting the shit with him
